What type of supervision do you provide? |
Campers are supervised by staff member during the entire camp (on and off the field). No one is allowed to leave the camp site without permeation from the Director or a camp staff member. We also have camp counselors that assist kids with some of their basic daily needs. |
Are the Lunch provided? |
No, campers are to bring their own lunch during the Full Day camp. On Wednesday campers can choose to order their lunch from Subway or Chic Filet, by collecting their monies and giving it to the Director in the morning for their lunch. Campers will eat their lunch in an air-conditional cafeteria. After lunch kids will be given the opportunity to show case their talent in various areas, be it singing, soccer skills or answering questions on the World Cup. Campers will also have the opportunity to win gifts during the Q&A session. |
Does my child need any spending money? |
Yes, campers will need money on each day for their lunch or snacks from the vending machine. |
Where is this camp located? |
All Full Day camps are being held at the beautiful Pope John Paul XXIII Catholic High School. This School is located on approximately 30 to 50 acres in a quiet Business and residential Neighborhood. The campus also boasts 3 fields 2 of which can be can be use for Soccer Field great cafeteria, gym and lovely weight room. For more information on Pope John Paul XXIII High School: Visit www.pj23.org

What about a Regular Day Campers? |
Camper's who live in the Houston, Harris, Spring, Forth band, Katy Kingwood, Woodland, cy- fair and Lake Jackson Area are welcome to attend our regular day camp sessions. The regular day camp session is action pack and is design to accomplish a set of curriculum with in a week. These camps are design with coaches in mind. Coaches are welcome to send in their request for a custom made training program for their teams. These camp runs for only 2 ½ hour during the day, morning from (9:00 am – 11:30 am) or evening from (5:30 pm – 8:00 pm) Monday thru Friday. Parents are welcome to watch! |
What about the Weekend Camp? |
This is a new program that is going to be held on only Saturday of every week during the summer. We add this program because of the demand from many parents about a weekend program that will keep their kids in soccer active during the summer. These camps will only be held in two locations in Texas. George Bush Park will serve as the venue for the Alief, Sugar land, Forth band, Westside, and the Katy Areas. Northland Christian High School will serve as the venue for the following areas Klein, Cyfair, Spring, Woodland, Magnolia, Kingwood and Conroe. What if I have paid for camp and my child cannot attend? |

What does my child need to pack for camp? |
It is important that you bring the following items with you to camp: soccer equipment: cleats, turfs (which are indoor/outdoor cleats- if you don't have any- sneakers will be fine), playing shorts, t-shirts, shin guards, socks (prefer dark colors); equipment bag; water bottle, sunscreen. Not required, but recommended: props for talent show; radio and music, playing cards, books, etc. Please call ahead should you need to request special soccer equipment brought to the camp. |
What about Check-In/Check-out Times? |
For full day camps, Check-in time is between 7:30 am - 8:15 am. Players are to bring their own Lunch. Campers will be welcome at the entrance of the cafeteria by the Director, Staff or one of the camp counselors. Campers are to be picked up between the hours of (3:30 pm – 4:00 pm). On Friday at 10:00 am there will be a final tournament, which the parents are welcome to come and watch. And immediately following is a closing ceremony where prizes for most of the campers, and an in depth evaluation and camp certificate for each camper will be presented; and camp will be concluded. 8:30 AM Soccer Aerobics & Technique(SKILLS) Training 9:30 AM Tactical Session in Relation to daily technical (Skills) training 10:30 AM Small sided Games (Emphasis on Skills learned) 12:15 Lunch/Talent Show, and Q & A about the World Soccer (fully supervised and age Appropriate) 1:45 PM "Custom Training" or “Proper Shooting technique” 2:30 PM Scrimmage Games (Competition) 3:20 PM Cool Down 3:30 PM – 4:00 PM Pickup time. |
Does my child need a Medical Form? |
A medical form/waiver is essential for your child to attend camp. This must be sent in no later than June 1st. If your child's doctor's appointment is scheduled for a date later than this, please fax the form in as soon as it is filled out to 832-559-1167. Please be aware that the form must be filled out completely in order for your child to participate in camps. If your child has a medical form from school or another camp- you can attach this to our form- but be sure to complete the top portion, the insurance portion, and the waiver on the bottom of our form.
